Who are you competing with?

Who are you competing with?

I. We can't prove our point by trash talking our competitors.

You can't say: "You need to hire me as your architect because XYZ architects don't understand the game." You're much more likely to get picked and respected if you instead explain what you understand about the game and how you play it.

II. You don't have to tear down others to define what you stand for.

The architect who says "I design buildings that work beautifully for 50 years" builds more trust than the one who says "While others chase flashy designs, we prioritise functionality."

III. Your work will always speak louder than your criticism.
